Rural Community Learning Inc.

Rural Community Learning Inc. manages two Employment Resource Centres in West Prince. The centres provide employment assisted services to unemployed or under employed individuals in Western PEI.

Immigrant & Refugee Services Association Prince Edward Island

Immigrant & Refugee Services Association Prince Edward Island (IRSA) provides Employment Assistance Service (EAS) for newcomers. EAS works collaboratively with other IRSA departments (Community Connections Program, Newcomer Settlement Services, Cultural Inclusion Training, Youth Settlement Services, and the Community Engagement Team) to provide an integrated, wrap-around employment service tailored to meet the specific barriers faced by newcomers to Canada.

SkillsPEI works closely with a number of External Service Providers who assist unemployed individuals to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment. SkillsPEI maintains a directory of External Service Providers throughout PEI.

SkillsPEI is a Division of the Department of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture. It was established in 2009 to manage the design and delivery of employment and skills development programming funded by the Canada-Prince Edward Island Labour Market Development Agreement and Canada-PEI Workforce Development Agreement.
