Steering Committee

The PEI Community Navigators have organized and established PEI Community Navigator Steering Committees across Rural PEI, which includes representatives from the following organizational service sectors:  education, employers, faith communities, health, housing, indigenous, municipalities, recreation, newcomers, transportation, other settlement service providers, and rural development.

Steering committees are involved in addressing the challenges experienced by new residents. Small group meetings are held throughout the quarter to address client needs, and regular bimonthly meetings are held with the entire group to act as an information exchange.
