Anderson House is the provincial emergency shelter for women and children who are experiencing physical, emotional or sexual abuse in their lives. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff provide confidential one-on-one support and information.

8-1-1 Telehealth (non-emergency)
Call 8-1-1 to speak with a registered nurse for non-emergency health information and advice. The service is available 24 hours a day to answer health questions over the phone. Dial 7-1-1 (TTY), if you are hearing impaired.

9-1-1 Emergency (ambulance, fire, police)
Call 9-1-1 to report a fire, crime or health emergency for immediate help. Operators will ask about the emergency and dispatch the police, fire department and/or an ambulance, as needed. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
